OPM Awards Program Task to CTEC

G2X TAKE: Nearly two years after 8 were awarded a Prime position on the $200M OPM Health Insurance Program IT Support Services (ITSS) BPA, Cybermedia Technologies (CTEC), an EDWOSB with expertise in Enterprise Applications Optimization and Infrastructure Modernization, Cybersecurity and Software Development, recently picked up BPA Call #1. The competition for this task, valued at $9.2M, drew three other bidders.

  • The multiple-award OPM HI Program IT Support Services (ITSS) BPA, set-aside for women-owned small businesses, was set up to provide requirements development, system development life cycle support, and user acceptance testing for a set of web-based systems used to manage the Multi-State Plan (MSP) Program for eligible persons who purchase health insurance coverage on one of the Health Care Exchanges.  
  • Led by CTEC President/CEO, Kay Ramesh, and Founder and VP, Raj Ramesh, and brings direct Prime experience supporting efforts such as the Oracle Solaris Support for OPM Data Migration, providing Systems Development and Maintenance efforts for the OCFO, and leading the segment and solution architecture for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Retirement Services (RS) group.
  • The OPM Healthcare and Insurance (HI) is responsible for the Government-wide administration of insurance and benefit programs for Federal employees, retirees, and their families, and in some cases, active and retired members of the uniformed services and their family members. The Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) Program is the largest employer-sponsored health insurance program in the world, covering more than 8 million Federal employees, retirees, and family members.
